I just "looped" (and then tied) my ribbons through large elastic pony-tail holders---no glue necessary...and the elastics can be held in the hand, worn on the wrist, or even around the ankles (for some flexible children)!

What a lovely idea! I too have a ton of ribbon...of course as a paper crafter, the hoarder in me screams NO! i MIGHT NEED IT! LOL But this is a great way to get rid of some of my lesser loved colors!
