Recycled Car

Vroom, Vroom...Here we go!  This is the first of many activities I'll be posting that will be using everyday recyclable items to celebrate Earth Day! Even though most of my projects/games are upcycled almost every week, I'm just going to focus on those for the next 2 weeks. :)

This first one was super easy and I literally pulled items out of my recycle bin for this!  And pulled from my never ending supply of plastic caps! :)

Materials needed:
Cardboard (cereal/cracker boxes work perfectly)
Plastic caps (milk caps work really well)
Markers/Crayons/Paint

I found a simple car template on Google made a template and a wonderful parent cut all the cars for us. :)

Here is where I hot glued the wheels on BUT you can also poke holes and use brads so the wheels spin!

There you have it!  Simple, Fun and GREEN!

I've joined in a great blog hop hosted by Mommy Labs and Greening Sam and Avery.  Click the Earth Day Celebrations button below to see all the great links that others have put together to be apart of this great blog hop!
