Fall Gardens: Marigolds, Flower Beds and more!

Here is a simple and interesting way to stamp/print flowers or just as a fun painting tool:

Copper Kitchen Scrubbers!!  -I added a clothespin for a handle, but it's not necessary.

We made ours into a pot of planted marigolds.

Here is an activity I made on the quick: berry baskets hot glued to a stiff board (cardboard, plywood, chipboard, etc)

Voila! Perfect to make a garden!  I had to trim all the flower stems to make sure they fit. **Be careful of sharp wire ends!
Pumpkin Gardens: Paint fingers like so.

Stamp!  We also added stems and curly vines for a complete look (no picture).

Woo-hoo!  We had so much fun learning about gardens that we had to make our own.  I bought a great little indoor herb kit.
We planted Cilantro, Basil and Parsley.  The next day however...

Yikes!  There was an explosion!  I did this same kit at home...and it did the same thing!  We transplanted our herbs into different planters, so all is good.  Hopefully the seeds are not faulty! :)
