Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

We made our way to Mother Nature's Farm, an annual field trip every October.  I always have such a large turnout!  I even was blessed to have students from past years come along with their younger siblings.  It's "fall break" here in the desert so we had a lot of siblings tag along.

We began our morning waiting in the area where they have all the large pumpkins you can buy.  It's the perfect place for photo ops! This little guy was super excited to get a hold of those giant orange things!

The farm had a litter of piglets for us to observe, but someone snuck in a pet!

Decorating pumpkins was a big highlight of our trip!

There were lots of activities we did, but having so much fun I didn't get many photos.  Hayrides, hay maze, hay jump and feeding of lots of farm animals.

If you don't have a pumpkin patch near you, why not bring the patch to you?  Deborah over at Teach Preschool did just that! Check out her great post on her indoor pumpkin patch!

Happy Fall!
