It's Snowing in Arizona!

Because we live in an area that is too warm for snow, we have to pretend. We are currently starting a unit on snow, ice, and snow clothing. Today we made our faces catching a snowflake on our tongue.

First, draw a face on a paperplate.

Next, add a tongue and snowflake.

Pull apart cottonballs and glue them around the paperplate to resemble a hood w/fur.

  1. Really cute idea! I was just thinking we needed to try some portraits - I'm going to try this.

  2. Thanks, Kat. I can't take credit...I got the idea from The Mailbox. I don't know what I would do without that publication! :)

I'd love to hear what your thoughts are...leave a comment! :)
